Water show in Dubai

Long day ....left early and drove out to Al Ain to see the camel market. Actually saw camels along the way walking by themselves in the desert. We drove up to the highest spot in the country and looked out over Oman and the city of Al Ain.  We stopped and had a delicious lunch then headed to Dubai. OMG - everything is over the top. Tallest building in the world, indoor ski hill, a water show that makes the Bellagio in Vegas look pretty rinky dink and a 7 star hotel! I saw more high end cars today than anywhere else I have ever been - Bentley's are pretty common !  Will let the pictures do the talking .

 Our lunch, I thought I was ordering a sandwich. Anyhow,it was good. Chicken in a lemon/garlic sauce with potatoes.

Notice how they tuck their feet up, they are kind o cute.

The desert

How smart is this - the lights at the top indicate whether there is a space available. So you don't have to crawl up all the aisles searching for a parking spot.

Indoor ski hill! Seriously, it was -3 degrees, pummel bar and chair lift!
